LANGHE ROSATO
Faule
“Faule” is a term that comes from the Piedmontese dialect and means “Fairytales”. This wine was born from an idea and a dream, that of telling the story of Nebbiolo in all its forms, even in the slightly more extravagant and lively version of a rosé.
Characteristics
Grape variety: 70% Nebbiolo and 30%Barbera
Age of vineyard: 5-30 years.
Planting density: 5000-5300 vines/ha.
Altitude: 300/400 m. asl.
Position: Sud/Nord /Nord-Ovest
Soil: Marly, calcareous

Vinification: 24 hours of cryomaceration followed by light pressing and continuing with fermentation at low temperatures to keep the varietal aromas of the vines as unaltered as possible.
Colour: Pale pink tending towards onion skin.
Nose: Delicate, floral and finely fruity with hints of cherry blossom, violet and aromatic herbs.
Taste: Soft, fresh and savory with hints of citrus. Slightly sparkling

Storage temperature: between 13° and 15° C.
Serving temperature: between 10° and 12° C.
Pairings: Shellfish and delicate fish. Also excellent as an aperitif.

BAROLO
Barolo DOCG
This is our expression of “classic” Barolo.
In the ancient tradition, Barolo was not produced from a single vineyard but by combining grapes from vineyards located in different areas and municipalities of Barolo.
We obtain this wine from grapes from the municipalities of Monforte, Castiglione Falletto and La Morra.
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Average age: 10-30 years.
Plant density: 5000 plants/ha.
Altitude: 300/500 m. asl.
Exposure: South/South-East/South-West.
Soil: Marly, at times sandy.
Vinification: The grapes from the individual vineyards are vinified and aged separately. The methods are different, so as to individually enhance the typical characteristics of each “terroir”.
Maturation: Approximately 30 months of aging in large 25 Hl barrels and a small part in barriques. At the end of the refinement they are assembled for bottling.
Refinement: In the bottle for 6 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Ruby red of medium intensity.
Bouquet: Floral, rich, broad and continuous with notes of red hibiscus flowers, plum and raspberry
Taste: On the palate it is classic, rich, powerful, with a moderate acidity that contrasts with a soft tannin, notes of alpine herbs and a finish of leather and tar.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Red meat roasts, game, truffle foods and mature cheeses.
Bottles produced: Approximately 15000.

BAROLO
Bussia
Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes produced from the most recently planted vineyards in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba in the Bussia sub-area (Cru).
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Average age: 6/22 years
Plant density: 5400 plants/ha.
Altitude: 300/350 m. asl.
Exposure: South/South-West.
Soil: Marly with evident limestone formations.
Vinification: As for the other wines, the fermentation takes place with the exclusive use of indigenous yeasts. The maceration lasts about 16 days at a controlled temperature between 25 and 30° C.
Maturation: In 25 – 30 Hl oak barrels for 30 months.
Refinement: In the bottle for 6 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Almost garnet ruby red.
Bouquet: Floral, rich, full and continuous with notes of red hibiscus flowers, plum and raspberry.
Taste: The taste envelops the palate with strength, harmony and fullness and keeps it for a long time. Moderately tannic and suitable for consumption from a young age.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Roasted red meat, game, truffled foods and aged cheeses.
Bottles produced: Approximately 11.000.

BAROLO
Bussia Bricco Visette
Barolo has ancient origins. There are documents that testify to the cultivation of Nebbiolo in the Visette area as early as the 12th century.
The same name "Visette" derives from the dialectal expression "vis" (vine) and means small vines. Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, Visette area (Bussia).
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Average age: 22-55 years.
Plant density: 5400 plants/ha.
Altitude 300/350 m. asl.
Exposure: South/South-West.
Soil: Marly.
Vinification: Maceration on the skins for about 20 days and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Maturation: 70% in 25-45 Hl oak barrels and 30% in Tonneaux and Barriques for 30 months.
Refinement: In the bottle for 6 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Dark garnet red.
Bouquet: Elegant, intense and spicy, with notes of red fruit such as raspberries, currants and pomegranates. In the younger stages it also has mentholated hints.
Taste: Rich, balanced with medium tannic structure.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Roasted red meat, game, truffled foods and aged cheeses.
Bottles produced: Approximately 7.000.

BAROLO
Riserva Ciabot Minat
The "Ciabot Minat" represents the excellence of the company and is the result of a scrupulous selection.
For this reason it is produced only in the best vintages and in a limited number of bottles.
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Average age: 55 years.
Plant density: Over 5400 plants/ha.
Altitude: 350 m. asl.
Exposure: South.
Soil: Marly, tuffaceous.
Vinification: Maceration on the skins for 25 days and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Maturation: In 500 liter tonneaux for the first 12 months and another 30 months in 25 Hl oak barrels.
Refinement: In the bottle for 12 months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Garnet red.
Bouquet: Rich and complex with warm tones characteristic of Nebbiolo, floral aromas, jams and spices.
Taste: Rich and powerful with firm tannins but well blended with the structure, remarkable body, excellent persistence and harmony.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Roasted red meat, game, truffled foods, aged cheeses or simply recommended as a good glass of meditation wine.

BAROLO
Barolo Chinato 35
It was founded in the second half of the 19th century by a pharmacist from Serralunga d'Alba as a remedy for seasonal ailments. In the Piedmontese tradition, Barolo Chinato became the main antidote to many small ailments, especially from colds.
Drunk as mulled wine, hot and invigorating, its antipyretic and digestive abilities were praised.
Characteristics
Barolo Chinato is obtained from the maceration of various spices, including China Calisaia bark, Rhubarb root and Gentian, essences that are known to have antiviral properties. The alcohol-based extract of the various essences, at the end of maceration, is added to the Barolo wine with the addition of sugar.
Today, Barolo Chinato is consumed as a sweet dessert wine, at the end of a meal as a digestive or as a meditation wine.
Our Barolo Chinato 35 Vendemmie comes from an ancient family recipe handed down by grandparents and revisited in a modern key using 22 different officinal essences including: China Calissaia, Rhubarb root, Gentian, Chamomile, Star Anise and Orange Peel.
Colour: Dark amber.
Bouquet: Intense and deep nose with a good dose of spices and balsamic hints.
Taste: Rich, sweet and at the same time bitter and slightly spicy.
Pairings: Ideal with desserts characterized by intense and persistent aromas. Also excellent as an accompaniment to dark chocolate. Interesting and seductive when consumed as a meditation wine or at the end of a meal as a digestive. It can also be used to prepare some cocktails or it can also be served slightly heated with steam with the addition of an orange zest.

LANGHE NEBBIOLO
Sbardajà
Class and spontaneous liveliness are the characteristics that distinguish Nebbiolo. Ancient wine and already known for the cellars of the Royal House of Savoy since 1600. "Sbardajà" is a term that derives from the Piedmontese dialect and means "scattered - scattered and this name was chosen because the wine is obtained from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards scattered between Langhe and Roero (Monforte, Monteu Roero).The blend between these two territories allows us to obtain a structured and at the same time elegant wine.
Characteristics
Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Average age: 5-30 years.
Planting density: 5300 plants/ha.
Altitude 300/400 m. asl.
Exposure: North/North-West.
Soil: Marly, calcareous.
Vinification: The fermentation is carried out in a natural way with indigenous yeasts and to enhance the qualities of freshness and fragrance, the maceration takes place at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28° C for about 10 days.
Maturation: 80% in steel tanks and 20% in oak barrels for 12 months.
Refinement: 4 months in bottle at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Brilliant, ruby red.
Bouquet: Floral, intense and ample with hints of cherry, plum combined together with licorice.
Taste: Warm, savory and velvety thanks to a moderate tannic charge.
Storage temperature: From 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Hot appetizers, first courses with meat sauces, roasted white and red meat.
Bottles produced: Approximately 16.000.

BARBERA D'ALBA SUPERIORE
La Lisi
Obtained from Barbera grapes produced in the vineyards located in Monforte d'Alba, Visette area.
The name La Lisi derives from "Lisirun", the old farmhouse where our family took its first steps in the world of viticulture.
Characteristics
Grape variety: 100% Barbera
Average age: 15-30 years.
Planting density: 5000 plants/ha.
Altitude: 350/400 m. asl.
Exposure: West/North-West.
Soil: Marly, calcareous.
Vinification: Cold maceration of 36 and to follow a maceration of about 7 days at a controlled temperature. Fermentation takes place exclusively with indigenous yeasts.
Maturation: 80% in steel tanks and 20% in oak barrels for 12 months.
Refinement: In the bottle for a few months at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
Color: Intense ruby red, with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: Fruity, vigorous and fragrant. with notes of raspberry and berries.
Taste: Pleasant, savory and balanced.
Storage temperature: from 14° to 17° C.
Serving temperature: 16°C.
Pairings: Risottos, lasagna, roasts and cheeses.
Bottles produced: approximately 13.500.

SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO
Extra Brut
Obtained from our vineyards in Monforte d'Alba from 40% Pinot Nero and 60% Nebbiolo grapes, it is a novelty of the company that has decided to face this challenge by adopting new forms of vinification compared to the traditional one of the Nebbiolo grape.
